Looking at this picture I see different parts of dolls in a box/wooden border.
It is various parts of baby dolls and childrens dolls, including a range of arms and legs.
They are various pastel colours.
The light is revealing the form of the doll parts.
Connotation
I associate the body parts with the following terms:-

Abuse
Exposed parts
Mass graves
Resting place

Body Parts
I get the feeling of someone keeping hold of their old toys and putting them to the back of the drawer, not wanting to get rid of them...holding onto the good memories.
